A little about the Dakar

The Dakar Rally from my perspective:
Originally begun as the Paris Dakar rally in the year 1978, and often called one of the most rigorous rallies in the world, and as mentioned on the website the main aim for people is usually to just finish rather than win.
Due to threats from radical groups the rally was shifted to South America, where 9,700km of untamed terrain will allow all hombres with grande enough cojones to challenge man, machine and themselves to drive into the sunset. There can be no higher bliss than being at one with a machine that respects and stands by your each decision. This is not just a dream it is an eventuality.
